Following their analysis of coaching registers, the Leadership Academy has identified their faculties of coaches are not representative of the workforce or the local population. It is important to recognise and nurture diverse talent and give staff the support and opportunity to reach their full potential.
The KSS and TVW Leadership Academies are taking positive action to develop a cohort of BAME (Black, Asian, or Minority Ethnic) staff working in the NHS as accredited coaches within the South East region. Therefore, we are delighted to announce the launch of the NHS ILM Level 5 Certificate in Coaching Programme - BAME Cohort open for applications.
This programme will be taking place on 25th-26th February and 18th-19th March 2020 and will be held at:
The Wesley Hotel & Conference Venue,
81 – 103 Euston Street
The dates for the telephone tutorials are still to be confirmed.
This coaching skills programme is designed to give participants the skills, understanding and confidence to provide coaching to others. It’s accredited by the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) at Level 5 (equivalent to degree level). Further details about the programme and participant commitment can be found in the attached flyer.
