OT and Dietitian webinar for Primary Care

Dear PCN's,

We would like to take this opportunity to introduce ourselves. Gen is the lead for primary care at RCOT and I am the lead for primary care at the BDA. We are currently working with Skills for health (commissioned by HEE) to develop the advanced practice credentials framework for Occupational Therapists/Dietitians in primary care. More information on these can be found here. We’re also working with HEE to develop the First Contact Practitioner to Advance Practitioner in primary care roadmaps for Occupational Therapists/Dietitians.

We’d like to invite you to our webinar ‘An introduction to the Occupational Therapists and Dietetic First Contact Practitioner roles’ on 26 May at 18:00-19:30 aimed at primary care training hubs and staff working in PCNs. The webinar will provide an overview of the expertise dietitians and occupational therapists can bring to primary care, along with how you, HEE and professional bodies can support these roles. You can sign-up here. We’d be really grateful if you could share this with any PCNs and anyone else you may feel would be interested in attending.

You can find more general information on our web pages here:
