If so, how about attending the Sexually Transmitted Infections Foundation (STIF) Course?

This is a nationally recognised course, day one STIF Core and day two STIF Plus, which provides multi-disciplinary training in the attitudes, skills, and knowledge required for the prevention and management of sexually transmitted infection outside the GUM setting.

Who is STIF for?

· General Practitioners (GPs)

· GP Registrars

· Practice Nurses

· Contraceptive Nurses

· Secondary School Nurses

· Health Promotion Staff

· Trainees in Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Accident & Emergency, Dermatology, and Genitourinary Medicine

In fact, anyone who might need to assess a patient’s risk for sexually transmitted infections.

Both days can be taken, however, if you have previously attended a STIF course (before August 2010) then please consider the STIF Plus day which has new content and develops on from the previous STIF course.

It is a great opportunity to network and learn more about the challenges facing other disciplines in coping with the nationwide explosion in sexually transmitted infections.

The course will be held on Wednesday 3 and Thursday 4 June 2020 at the Spitfire Ground, St Lawrence (Les Ames Stand), Kent County Cricket Club, Old Dover Road, Canterbury, Kent CT1 3NZ.
